Non punge né morde, ma rilascia una sostanza chiamata pederina, capace di bruciare la pelle. Basta schiacciarlo sulla pelle per scatenare un’infiammazione grave.
It doesn’t sting or bite—but it releases a toxic chemical called pederin. Just squashing it on your skin can cause burning blisters and serious irritation.
4. Lonomia obliqua – La Farfalla Killer
Italia: Assente (ma occhio agli esotici!)
Tossicità: Emoorragie, potenziale letalità
Viene dal Sud America ed è la larva più velenosa al mondo. I suoi peli rilasciano tossine che possono causare emorragie interne. Alcuni esemplari sono stati avvistati in importazioni vegetali.

Simile a una vespa normale, ma molto più grande. Le sue colonie possono diventare aggressive se disturbate. È in aumento nelle città.
Similar to a regular wasp, but much larger and louder. It can become aggressive in groups and is spreading fast across urban areas.
