The Atlas Moth (Attacus atlas) is one of the largest moths on Earth, with wingspans reaching up to 25 cm (10 inches)! Its striking wing patterns resemble snake heads, a clever defense to scare predators. These moths live mainly in tropical and subtropical forests of Southeast Asia.
