For years, entomologists have studied insect antennae for their role in sensing chemicals, vibrations, and air currents. But recent research from a secretive lab in Finland suggests a radical idea: some insect species might be receiving extraterrestrial signals.
Researchers found that certain beetles, when isolated in Faraday cages, behaved erratically—until exposed to specific cosmic microwave frequencies. Their antennae vibrated as if “resonating,” and synchronized neural activity followed, resembling data reception.
Even more chilling? These frequencies were traced to a known deep-space anomaly: the so-called “Black Echo,” a mysterious transmission loop discovered by radio telescopes in the 1990s.
Could insects be biological receivers, tuned to alien broadcasts?
