Cinder-ant gathered the colony’s bravest workers and marched toward the termites’ tunnels. Instead of fighting, she proposed a bold plan: an alliance.
“We share the soil, so let’s share resources and protect each other from bigger threats,” she said.
The termite queen was skeptical but agreed to a meeting. Slowly, the two colonies began to communicate and cooperate, building a network of shared tunnels and food storage.
