Today, I explored how insects detect chemicals using antennae and mouthparts equipped with chemoreceptors. These allow them to sense pheromones, plant volatiles, and even toxins.
Insects rely heavily on these senses to find food, mates, or avoid danger — living in a world defined more by chemistry than sight.
