The stars shimmer over Gardenopolis, but high in the shadows of the leaf canopy, a new threat weaves its web — Arachnon, an ancient spider-being with obsidian armor and venom that dissolves chlorophyll itself.
He whispers to his eight-legged disciples:
🗣️ “The mites were weak. I spin the end of all things green. Begin Operation Leaffall.”
🦸♂️ Underground Response
Deep in the root bunker, Batman Insect picks up strange tremors in the canopy alarm spores. Superman Insect bursts in.
Superman Insect:
🗣️ “The photosynthesis is dropping fast. Something’s blocking the leaves from sunlight.”
Batman Insect:
🗣️ “Spiders. Silken war-webs are strangling the treetops.”
🕸️ First Encounter: Ambush at Leafspire
The duo flies upward. As they reach the Leafspire, a sleek tower of woven leaves, they’re ambushed by Arachnon’s generals:
- Widowlash, a venomous spider assassin with razor legs.
- Silkrend, who spins webs that harden into crystal.
🕷️ Widowlash slashes at Batman Insect — his wing clips spark!
💥 Superman Insect counters with a flash-burst, blinding the attackers.
They barely escape into a hollow bark tunnel.
🤖 Tactical Retreat – New Plan
Inside the tunnel, Batman Insect begins engineering infrared pollen bombs that target spider silk. Superman Insect trains in aerial combat inside tangled web simulators.
🦇 “This is more than war — it’s a siege of the skies.”
🦸 “Then we fight like never before.”
🌕 Final Scene: Arachnon’s Web Throne
On a moonlit branch, Arachnon sits on a throne of fossilized beetle shells, observing a massive war-web stretching across the horizon.
🗣️ “Let them struggle. By dawn, every leaf will belong to the Spider Empire.”
