Dracula Bugs entered the Blooming Mausoleum, a hidden greenhouse where only nocturnal flowers grew. Glint followed closely, antennas twitching.
“The scent… it’s hypnotic,” Glint said, stumbling slightly.
“That’s the Whispering Nectar,” Dracula Bugs replied.
“It calls to insects… and drains their will.”
In the center stood a black orchid, pulsing with a crimson glow. Tiny winged moths hovered around it in a trance.
“Why would someone plant this?” Glint asked.
“Not someone,” Dracula Bugs said. “Something.”
Suddenly, the petals opened like a mouth, and a voice echoed in their minds:
“Who dares awaken the Sleep of Pollen?”
The ground quaked. The flower had roots not in soil, but in memory.
