Under the cover of night, Dracula Bugs and Glint spotted little glowing dots flickering in the dark. “Fireflies! They’re putting on a light show,” whispered Glint excitedly.
Dracula Bugs nodded, “Fireflies light up their bellies using a chemical reaction called bioluminescence. It’s like having tiny built-in flashlights!”
Glint giggled, “Why do they do that?”
“Great question! They use their glow to find mates and warn predators — ‘Don’t eat me, I’m not tasty!’” explained Dracula Bugs.
