It was pitch black in the mossy forest. Only faint green glimmers danced in the night.
A panicked firefly approached Dracula Bugs.
“Sir… the glowworms have stopped glowing. The whole cave is dark. It’s chaos!”
Dracula, with his antennae twitching, crept into the cave.
It was true — no glow, no glimmer, only gloom.
He sniffed the damp air. Something was… humming?
Suddenly — ZZZZZZAP!
He dodged a flying mosquito holding a tiny taser.
“LIGHTS OFF! I hate the brightness!” screeched the vampire mosquito.
“Too much light makes me dizzy!”
“But glowworms need light to attract prey,” muttered Dracula.
With a flick of his cape, Dracula deflected the taser and trapped the mosquito in a dewdrop bubble.
The glowworms flickered back on, brighter than ever.
“Some bugs fear the light… others are the light,” Dracula said, fading back into the fog.
