Suddenly—
a portal opened.
From the skyline of Metropolis stepped a new figure:
Lex Luthor, armored in techno-chitin, powered by insect DNA stolen from Project M.A.N.T.I.S.
“Thought I’d miss the party?”
Chrysalis screeched in fury.
Lex grinned.
And fired a parasite cannon—directly into Chrysalis’s thorax.
🧬 Clark’s Final Choice
Clark hovered above the crater.
Hive below. Lex beside him.
Chrysalis bleeding, but not dead.
To destroy her…
He’d have to sacrifice the hive connection.
Lois.
He turned to her.
“If I break it, you’ll lose the link.”
“Do it,” she said.
“We’re stronger as humans. Not insects.”
He dove.
His fists, glowing with Kryptonnectar fire, struck the hive core.
🌋 Hivefall Ends
The explosion was silent.
Wings disintegrated.
Chrysalis evaporated.
The insects fell, dormant.
Clark collapsed in Lois’s arms—
Human again. Mostly.
A single glowing scale pulsed on his back.
