“We were just rehearsing the triple somersault when— poof —he was gone!” cried a trapeze tick.
Dracula sniffed the air. “No blood scent… only glue and sawdust. Curious.”
He turned to the strongbug lifting a peanut. “Where were you during intermission?”
The strongbug stuttered, “Uh… bench press!”
Dracula grinned. “That peanut has teeth marks. You were snacking during duty!”
From a popcorn bucket, Fleatrick popped out, covered in butter. “Sorry! I got hungry.”
