It was a quiet, eerie night in the forest when Dracula Bugs caught wind of something odd. Too quiet. No crickets chirping. No beetles humming. Only… the faint scent of mothballs.
“Someone’s trying to exorcise me,” he muttered, sniffing the chemical air. It was a smell only old wardrobes and vampire folklore could love—or hate.
In the hollow of a dead tree, he found them: the Nocturnal Gnat Society holding a Mothball Séance, led by Madame Midge.
“You dare summon ghost moths to banish me?” he growled.
Madame Midge replied, “You’ve been overfeeding on the nectar barrels. Balance must return!”
Dracula Bugs chuckled. “Then allow me to balance the books…”
He blew a puff of pollen dust—instant sneeze storm! The séance was ruined. The gnats flew off, nose-dripping into the night.
“Moral of the story,” he said, sipping nectar, “Never mess with a vampire who respects floral notes.”
